Group Exercise

One of the most important aspects to life is health and fitness.  Typically people associate health with getting sick and fitness with going to the gym or working out. The definition of health according to dictionary.com is “the general condition of the body or mind with reference to soundness and vigor”: and for fitness is “health or capability of the body of distributing inhaled oxygen to muscle tissue during increased physical effort.“

As with most, we think about our health and fitness but put it on the back burner for another day.  Things like getting to work on time or staying late to finish a project, taking the kids to their activities and keeping the house in order often are the reasons people don’t spend time for themselves.  Spending time on yourself is an investment in your future.  Health and fitness isn’t about being the skinniest or the strongest; it’s about longevity.  Will you be around for your grandkids, or will you be able to do things with them?

For some, the scariest part of fitness is getting started; what can they handle or how much they can do.  With fitness classes it isn’t about the person next to you; it’s your journey and your goals.  For others, it’s finding the time in our busy schedules to get in a workout.

At Ki Training Center, we offer a variety of classes from the off-the-couch person to the advanced boot camper. Classes in the early morning before work and classes later in the day.  Join us for a fun, energetic class!
